Taking place at the Untad Guest House, "Inauguration of the Bungamputi Dharma Wanita (DW) Integrated Posyandu Tadulako University Association" was held on Friday (12/01/2024) morning to inaugurate the New Posyandu in Tondo Village.

The New Posyandu, which is located at the UNTAD Guest House, is also one of the programs that helps realize the government and Tadulako University program to accelerate stunting reduction.

The inauguration of this Integrated Posyandu was officiated directly by the Chancellor of UNTAD, namely Mr. Prof. Dr. Ir. Amar, S.T., M.T., IPU., ASEAN Eng and attended by several invited guests, namely Deputy Chancellor III for Student and Alumni Affairs, Chair of LPPM UNTAD, Chair and Deputy Chair of TP PKK, Head of the Health Service and representatives of the Talise Health Center.

"First of all, I really appreciate the Chair and Deputy Chair of the TP PKK and the women of the Tadulako University Dharma Wanita association, because without a driving force like them, the existence of the Tadulako University Dharma Wanita would not have been able to stand by itself without the help of the other ladies and gentlemen who were present on the occasion. This is what has made a big contribution so far." Said Prof Amar.

During this inauguration, free health checks were also held for toddlers, teenagers and the elderly. Health checks provided include immunizations, blood pressure checks, blood sugar, cholesterol and uric acid. Posyandu Bungamputi is also a program to make it easier for the people of Tondo to get better health services in the future.

"Health services at the Integrated Posyandu are open every month on Thursday from 08.00 until finish. "The hope is that this Integrated Posyandu will bring blessings and make it easier for the community to get better health services," said Susanti Amar as Chair of DW Untad.

After the inauguration of the Bungamputi Posyandu and several presentations from the Chancellor of UNTAD, the event then continued with installing sashes for the Posyandu Cadres and cutting the Ribbon. The event closed with a photo session with the Chancellor and top officials as well as the UNTAD Dharma Wanita with invited guests and Posyandu cadres. Fadila.
