{"id":8346,"date":"2019-04-12T08:56:30","date_gmt":"2019-04-12T00:56:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/untad.ac.id\/?p=8346"},"modified":"2019-04-12T08:56:30","modified_gmt":"2019-04-12T00:56:30","slug":"international-office-untad-gelar-penguatan-mahasiswa-kelas-internasional-melalui-student-training","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/untad.ac.id\/en\/2019\/04\/international-office-untad-gelar-penguatan-mahasiswa-kelas-internasional-melalui-student-training\/","title":{"rendered":"International Office Untad Gelar Penguatan Mahasiswa Kelas Internasional Melalui Student Training"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bertempat di Lantai II Theater Room Untad, International Office pada Kamis (11\/04\/2019) Pagi menggelar \u201c <em>Student Training ACIAR Project \u2013 Profitable Feeding Strategies For Smallholder Cattel In Indonesia<\/em> \u201d yang merupakan projek kerjasama antara Universitas Tadulako dan <em>The University of\u00a0 Queensland<\/em> dibawah naungan <em>Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR)<\/em> yang diikuti oleh Mahasiswa Untad dalam dan luar negeri.<\/p>\n<p>Saat ini Untad telah memiliki kelas Internasional pada beberapa program studi seperti Ilmu Komunikasi (FISIP), Manajemen (FEKON), Agribisnis (FAPERTA), Pendidikan Kimia (FKIP), Teknik Sipil (FATEK), dan Peternakan (FAPETKAN). Salah satu program Internasional Office adalah mempromosikan Untad dikancah internasional agar mahasiswa asing lebih tertarik untuk datang belajar. Selain itu, iO Untad juga sebagai fasilitator untuk mahasiswa asing yang telah ada di Untad.<\/p>\n<p>Dalam <em>Student Training<\/em> yang bekerjasama dengan Balai Pengkajian Teknologi Pertanian\u00a0<em>Sulawesi Tengah<\/em> tersebut, Prof. Ir.\u00a0Marsetyo, M.Sc.Ag., PhD selaku kepala iO Untad banyak memaparkan tentang materi pelatihan terkait ilmu Peternakan khususnya seputar potensi sapi potong di Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/untad.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/WhatsApp-Image-2019-04-10-at-21.37.33.jpeg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-8347 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/untad.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/WhatsApp-Image-2019-04-10-at-21.37.33-300x200.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"233\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/untad.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/WhatsApp-Image-2019-04-10-at-21.37.34.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-8348 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/untad.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/WhatsApp-Image-2019-04-10-at-21.37.34-300x200.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"233\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201c Permintaan daging sapi nasional di Indonesia rata rata sebanyak 653.000 ton atau setara 3.657.000 ekor sapi\/tahun. Sedangkan yang mampu dihasilkan sebanyak 406.000 ton atau setara dengan 2.339.000 ekor sehingga saat ini Indonesia membutuhkan import sapi sebanyak 750.000 ekor\/tahun dari Australia. Meskipun begitu, konsumsi daging sapi di Indonesia masih cukup rendah (2,48 kg\/kapita\/thn) jika dibandingkan dengan Hongkong (51,79 kg\/kapita\/thn), Singapura (10,12 Kg\/kapita\/thn) dan Malaysia (8,57 Kg\/kapita\/thn). Melihat data tersebut, kita bisa melihat adanya peluang untuk menghasilkan lebih banyak lagi produksi sapi potong di Indonesia melalui peningkatan produksi pakan ternak dan peternakan.\u201d Papar Prof. Marsetyo.<\/p>\n<p>Beliau turut menuturkan bahwa banyak sekali daerah di Sulawesi Tengah yang berpotensi menjadi lokasi peternakan yang strategis untuk meningkatkan produksi sapi potong.
