Tadulako University Vice Rector for Student Affairs Held Training of Trainer for Host and Co-Host of Introducing Campus Life for New Students 2021 Event

After conducting Training of Trainer (ToT) for intra-campus organization administrators related to upcoming event, Introducing Campus Life for New Students (ICLNS) 2021, Tadulako University Vice Rector for Students Affairs of also organized ToT for host and co-host on Tuesday morning, August 3rd 2021 via zoom meeting.

Dr.Sagaf, MP as Tadulako University Vice Rector for Students Affairs stated that host and co-host have very significant roles in ICLNS 2021 since they are responsible to ensure the lectures delivered well from the speaker to the new students.

“Later, these new students will be divided into 10 clusters, and each cluster consists of five classes. Each class will be controlled by one host and one co-host. There will be 200 new students per class. These host and co-host are assigned to manage some issues like the internet signal during online meeting and the speaker matters as well. It is important for the host and co-host to coordinate well related to responsibility demanded in the upcoming event. Thus, we expected all host and co-host accept full responsibility dealing with this new students welcoming ceremony,” said Dr. Sagaf.

After the speech of vice rector, Nadira, S.Kom as a server division staff of Tadulako University IT affairs explained the detailed tasks of all host and co-host during the talks. Besides, Nadira also described the tutorials how to make schedule, record zoom meeting, share screen, access the virtual background, and set the live streaming of zoom meeting in Youtube.

Still in the same ToT, Christsavelin Anastasya as a web division staff of Tadulako University IT affairs also showed the tutorials how to provide presence list via zoom.us portal and zoom chat. Host and co-host are mainly required to have licensed zoom account. After the lectures delivered, they managed into discussions between the speakers and participants.
